Samuel Kummer

Samuel joined the A/S team in 2021 as a teaching assistant. Since September 2023, he has been working as a project coordinator on the BFE project "Integrated Design Atlas," which aims to establish a national platform to promote integrated design for sustainable architecture. In addition, he supports teaching activities in the courses “Energy and Climate Design I & II” as well as in the design studio “Design for Climate”.

Before joining the chair, Samuel studied architecture at ETH Zurich. Previously, he worked at the Competence Centre for Thermal Energy Storage at HSLU and investigated the potential of solar heat in combination with thermal energy storage in Switzerland. Alongside his work at ETH Zurich, he also works at the architectural office kämpfen zinke + partner AG in Zurich, which specialises in solar architecture.
