Samuel joined our chair as a teaching assistant in 2021. Since September 2023, he has been a research assistant on the BFE project "Integrated Design Platform," which aims to launch a national platform to promote an integrated design approach for sustainable buildings for architects. Additionally, he contributes as a teaching assistant in the Energy and Climate Design I&II courses and in the design studio "Design for Climate."
Before joining the chair, Samuel studied architecture at ETH Zurich. Previously, he worked at the Competence Centre for Thermal Energy Storage at HSLU and investigated the potential of solar heat in combination with thermal energy storage in Switzerland. Besides his work at ETH Zurich, he also works in the architectural office kämpfen zinke + partner AG in Zurich, which specializes in solar architecture.
