Congratulations to our colleague Valeria Piccioni!
We are very proud of our colleague Valeria Piccioni for successfully defending her PhD Thesis titled: "A multiscale approach to 3D-printed facades: energy, daylight, and environmental impact."
As part of the NCCR Digital Fabrication and together with a transdisciplinary team at ETH Zurich, Valeria researched the foundations of future multi-performance facades using integrated computational design and manufacturing processes. Her research focused on novel approaches for performance-integrated design and multi-scale simulation of heat and radiation transfer to unveil the relationship between performance, geometry, material, and process parameters.
