Symposium Solar Building

The Symposium Solar Building is organized by Swissolar, the Institute for Technology in Architecture (ITA) of ETH Zurich, TEC21, the Austrian Technology Platform Photovoltaics, solarchitecture.ch, and EnergieSchweiz.  

This year's Solar Building Symposium will demonstrate the application of solar architecture through individual projects and in relation to urban and site planning.

Architects and other actors from various projects such as Rune Grasdal from Snøhetta, Sven Kowalewsky from jessenvollenweider architektur ag, Sebastian El Khouli from Bob Gysin Partner BGP, and many others will report concretely on their practical experiences and insights gained. Prof. Arno Schlüter will lead the Workshop Solardesign: Designing with Active Materials, during the Research and Future session on September 14, 2021.
