Test cell, artificial global climate

The test cell is surrounded by an artificial atmosphere in which a wide range of desired conditions can be created, in terms of solar radiation, temperature and humidity. New building envelopes, as well as building services components capable of heating, ventilation, lighting, humidification and dehumidification can be tested. The test cell linked to the ground floor climate chamber is located is the interface between the climate shell on one side, in which air temperature, humidity, and solar radiation can be changed through the combined action of air conditioning units and an LED sun simulator (i.e. the artificial sun). This allows for a variety of climate zones to be simulated.
